 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. MALI INTENSIFIES THEIR EBOLA QUARANTINE AS TWO PEOPLE DIED OF THE VIRUS.

REUTERS-Joe Penney             According to sources,Mali quarantined dozens of people on wednesday at the home of a 25 year old nurse who died from Ebola in the capital,Bamako and at the clinic where he treated an Iman from Guinea who died with Ebola like symptoms.The Imam from the border town of Kouremale was never tested for the disease and his body was washed in Mali and returned to Guinea for burial without Precautions against the virus.Two aid workers said that another person who lived in the house where the Imam stayed in Bamako had died this week and was buried without being tested.A doctor at the Pasteur clinic where the nurse worked one of Bamako's top medical centers is also suspected to have contracted Ebola.One more photo below.                                                                                                                                                          A police officer stands guard outside the quarantined Pasteur Clinic in Bamako November 12, 2014.
