 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.               Yesterday saturday August 1st,Bobbi Kristina Brown who tragically passed away last week,at the age of 22,was finally laid to rest .After the funeral,Bobbi Kristina's closest friends and family members gathered at her aunt Pat Houston's house for a post funeral reception.But there was a twist to the post funeral party because when a bus filled with people coming from the funeral arrived at Pat's house.the sad crowd turned into a party celebrating Bobbi Kristina's life.More photos below.
