  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. There is fire outbreak in Onitsha now, from Upper Iweka going down to Ochanja, down to Amobi Market caused by a petrol Tanker.
from the report reaching us, there is no any fire service officers seen around the seen.
now the fire has gotten to Ogbo Akwukwo.
The fire have engulfed the popular Ochanja market.
