 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. TRAINING OF POLICE HEALTH OFFICERS ON COVID-19 INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL(IPC) IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    Today 21/4/2020 the Nigeria Police Medical Services Anambra State Command in collaboration with National Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) organised a one day training for Police health officers on COVID-19 "infection prevention and control" in Anambra State.
Aim of the training was to enable Police health officials with the basic skills needed to prevent the spread of the dreaded corona virus among officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force who are at the forefront in the enforcement of Government order against the spread of COVID-19 which has become a global pandemic.
While addressing participants during the training session at the Command Conference hall,the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* enjoined them to pay attention to the training in order to get the requisite knowledge about the deadly virus and how to prevent it's spread through prevention and control measures for the benefits of the entire officers and men in the Command.
The training was facilitated by Dr Jane Ezeonu of NCDC and the Command Medical Officer CSP Dr Emelike Chinenyen.
