 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Kaduna Gov-elect Uba Sani Unveils Book Written On Governor Nasir El-Rufai


Kaduna State Governor-elect Uba Sani, Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe today joined other eminent Nigerians to a public book presentation on Governor Nasir El-Rufai.


The book, “Putting People First: The El-Rufai Years”, was written by Emmanuel Ado.


Senator Uba Sani presented the book in an event that took place at Shehu Musa Yar’adua Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna, today.


Dignitaries at the event include the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by Kashim Imam, Rivers State Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, renowned business mogul Arthur Eze who served as the Chief Launcher.


Former Governor of Jigawa State Saminu Turaki, and former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation-Mohammed Adoke, also attended, among other great personalities.


The book, “Putting People First: The El-Rufai Years” is a compilation of published articles and interviews focusing on El-Rufai’s tenure as an appraisal of his core values, mission and policy statements that defined the El-Rufai year as Governor of Kaduna State.
