 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  We have done it again” – Femi Adebayo beams with pride as Jagun Jagun bags 7 AMAA nomination


Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo is quite elated as his 2023 movie, Jagun Jagun bags 7 nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).


Taking to his Instagram page to share the good news, Femi revealed that his movie bagged nominations for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Costume Design, achievement in Make-up, achievement in Production Design, Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in African Language, achievement in Visual Effect and National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) award for best Nigerian film.


Femi expressed how honored he is for the nominations as he expressed how excited he is for all the contributors in the nominated categories for his movie. He also gave a shout-out to the organizers of the award for the recognition and to his team, for making his movie a masterpiece.
