 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  A Zimbabwean man, Lovemore Sithole, has been sentenced to death in Botswana for selling his 6-year-old stepson to ritualists for R280 000.

A Zimbabwean national, Lovemore Sithole (37) who was living in Botswana has been found guilty by a Botswana court of law of selling his stepson.It alleged that he trafficked the boy in March 2022 and his head scull was found the following month.The scull was identified through DNA test.The court has sentenced him to death for selling his 6-year-old stepson to ritualists for P280 000.He will be hanged to death.Botswana is a Southern African country that doesn't tolerate crime and has punished several criminals by hanging them with a rope.#mapulanengnews
