 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  BENUE MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER HE SOLD A PLOT OF LAND TO 3 BUYERS


 


A young man by name Mr Tartor Ayihe from Ayihe Village committed suîcide by taking snîpper earlier this evening after selling a plot of land to three different persons. Upon the Community Chief’s request, they all assembled for enquiry at his (Zaki’s Residence). He left the gathering with an excuse to get something in the house, he rather went to three different shops in search for snipper. He succeeded and went home, switched off his phone and drank the whole bottle of snîpper. Having waited for him for a longer time, the chief sent people to his house where it was discovered he drank snipper. He die.d on arriving at the hospital.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
