 MISSING CHILDREN SAFELY RETURNED TO WANNUNE AFTER ABDUCTION ATTEMPT Relief and jubilation swept through the IF Academy settlement in Wannune, Tarka LGA of Benue State, as children who went missing last October have been safely reunited with their families.   According to Timothy Chusa, who reported the incident to Benue Info-pedia, the children were taken by a Tiv girl to Nasarawa State, where she resides. Community members revealed that the suspect had allegedly planned to sell the children. However, before the plan could be executed, information reached Wannune, prompting swift intervention.   Faced with mounting pressure, the suspect was compelled to return the children unharmed.  Driver filmed flogging FRSC officer during traffic stop.


A dramatic video captured a driver using a whip (koboko) to flog an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) who stopped him at a traffic stop.


The video circulating on X shows an FRSC officer and the driver pushing each other before the driver uses the whip on the officer.


Other uniformed FRSC officers intervene at this moment to separate the driver from their colleague. 


"Because you tried to collect money from him and he didn't give, you used the plastic (traffic safety cone) in your hand to hit him at the steering," a voice is heard narrating the incident that angered the driver and led to him flogging the FRSC officer.


The confrontation between the driver and FRSC officer has sparked fresh debate about law enforcement practices on Nigeria’s roads.
