 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AN 8-YEAR-OLD FLORIDA GIRL WAS FORCED TO STAB HER GRANDMOTHER TO SAVE HER MOTHER'S LIFE.(PHOTO)

 An 8-year-old Florida girl was forced to stab her grandmother to save her mother's life.


This awful incident occurred in Oakleaf, Florida, on Monday, November 17th.


According to authorities, they received a call about a disturbance.  In the call, the victim can be heard yelling for someone to leave her home.


That someone ended up being the caller's estranged mother, Sepril Adams. 


Sepril had entered her estranged daughter's home and attempted to carry out a vicious attack on her own daughter with a serated blade.


Thankfully, the victim's 8-year-old daughter had her mother's back. As the victim struggled to keep herself from being attacked with the knife, her daughter grabbed a knife from their kitchen. She was forced to stab her own grandmother in the upper arm.


This was enough to cause Sepril to run from the home and speed away in her car.


Jacksonville County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Sepril Adams later that day at a home in Jacksonville. She is being charged with attempted second-degree homicide.


Thankfully, neither the mother nor her brave daughter were injured in the incident.
