Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial.  Blake Lively seeks $161 million in damages in lawsuit against Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively is seeking $161 million in damages, claiming she suffered massive financial losses due to Justin Baldoni’s alleged smear campaign.

Court filings state that Lively lost $56.2 million in earnings from acting, producing, speaking engagements, and endorsements. Her lawyers also say her haircare brand, Blake Brown, suffered $49 million in losses, while her beverage company, Betty Buzz/Betty Booze, lost $22 million. Additionally, they claim her reputation took a $34 million hit after 65 million negative social media impressions circulated about her.

Lively and Baldoni are scheduled to face trial in March after she sued him, alleging sexual harassment on the set of their 2024 film It Ends With Us and a subsequent campaign of online smears. Baldoni had countersued, claiming $400 million in damages for defamation, but that claim was dismissed in June when a judge ruled he could not sue over statements made in a legal filing.
