 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker.   Cash-in-Transit Heist Attempt Turns Fatal for Khakhala Duo in Kempton Park

Two men from Khakhala village outside Giyani allegedly attempted a cash-in-transit heist in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. The incident reportedly took place earlier today.


According to preliminary information, the pair was using an Uber vehicle when they targeted the cash-in-transit vehicle. Security guards responded and fired back during the confrontation.


One suspect died at the scene, while the second was critically injured and rushed to hospital for further medical attention. Police are expected to launch a full investigation into the matter, including the origins of the vehicle and possible links to other criminal activities.
