 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT NAF RELEASES LIST OF ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS FOR BMTC 46/2025 APTITUDE TEST The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) wishes to inform the public that the list of eligible applicants for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025 Aptitude Test has been published on the NAF Recruitment Portal. The list can be accessed via www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng . The Aptitude Test is scheduled for 13 December 2025 at 15 designated centres nationwide, commencing at 0700hrs. All shortlisted applicants are advised to arrive early and must come with their acknowledgement slips and required writing materials, as these are compulsory for participation. The NAF remains committed to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process aimed at selecting the most qualified young Nigerians to serve with honour and professionalism.  Fedpoly Oko Dismisses former deputy registrar and Principal Technical officer Over Misconduct and Age Falsification


In a decisive move to strengthen institutional integrity, the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has dismissed two senior staff members after a series of investigations found them culpable of violating key provisions of the Public Service Rules.


Those affected are Mr. Ekene Olbenzisa, formerly a Principal Technical Officer, and Mr. Anthony Ogochukwu Umeozor, formerly a Deputy Registrar of the institution. Their dismissal, approved by the Governing Council, took effect from October 28, 2025, according to an official statement released on Thursday, December 9.


The Case Against Ekene Olụtara: Conspiracy, Theft & Sabotage

The polytechnic revealed that a comprehensive investigation by a duly constituted disciplinary committee established a case of conspiracy, sabotage, theft, and illegal sale of institutional property—including a tractor bucket, its accessories, and ceiling fans—against Mr. Ekene.


The acts were classified as serious misconduct under Rule 100402 of the Public Service Rules, attracting the ultimate penalty of dismissal as stipulated in Rule 100407.


According to the institution, the offences were not only criminal in nature but amounted to a breach of trust and a deliberate attempt to undermine the smooth functioning of the institution.


Similarly, Mr. Anthony Ogochukwu Umeozor was dismissed for falsifying his age, a violation uncovered during an internal review process. The disciplinary committee affirmed that the falsification constituted gross misconduct under the Public Service Rules, Chapter 10, Section 4.


The Governing Council upheld the committee’s recommendation, stressing that such conduct threatens the credibility of public institutions and cannot be overlooked.


Polytechnic Issues Public Warning

In the wake of the dismissal, the institution issued a strong warning to members of the public to avoid conducting any official business with the dismissed staff on behalf of the Polytechnic.
