 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. PASTOR ENOCH ADEBOYE BAN'S DELEGATE FROM OTHER WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES FOR FEAR OF EBOLA.

              According to a national based Newspaper,the General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God,RCCG,Pastor Enoch Adeboye has banned delegates from Ebola hit countries such as Liberi,Sierra Leone and Guinea,from attending the ongoing National Convention.He took the decision to prevent the spread of Ebola virus Disease,EVD in Nigeria.Officials of the Federal and Lagos state governments had met with the RCCG leader to adopt precautionary measures by not allowing people from the infected countries to come to the church's convention,which usually attracts thousands of participants.At the ongoing RCCG convention,no delegate from the Ebola infected countries showed up as they were not allowed.
