Katsina state government has announced the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who had been in bandits' captivity for several weeks. A statement made available to newsmen by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Nasiru Mu'azu, confirmed the development. According to the statement, the retired General died from complications arising from diabetes and hypertension.  NSA BROKER PEACE IN WARRI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY  Following President Tinubu directive to the National Security Adviser to Peacefully resolve the lingering crisis in the proposed Warri Federal Constituency 11, representatives of the Ijaw and Itsekiri ethnic nationalities in Delta State have agreed on a power-sharing formula to resolve the dispute over electoral ward delineation carried out by INEC in the area. In the agreement, the House of Representatives seat will rotate between the Ijaw and Itsekiri ethnic groups, with the Ijaw nationality taking the first turn for two consecutive terms before the seat shifts to the Itsekiri for a similar tenure.
