 A 30-year-old interior decorator, Esohe Aigbe, has reportedly been hacked to death after volunteering her services at a burial ceremony in Benin City. According to reports, Esohe offered to decorate the funeral venue free of charge as her contribution to the event. Family members said she had accompanied a friend to help with decorations at a venue located on Ujo Street in the Ogida area. After completing the assignment, she reportedly remained at the venue when she was attacked by unidentified assailants. She was rushed to University of Benin Teaching Hospital with serious injuries but later died while receiving treatment. Her body has since been deposited in a mortuary. Relatives have called on security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
