 The Tennessee School Board Member embroiled in controversy after calling a student "hot" has been charged.  Keith Ervin, Washington County Board of Education member, singled out 17-year-old Hannah Campbell and exclaimed, "God you're hot, you know that? Where do you go to school?" He also grabbed and held the uncomfortable girl. The video went viral that captured the moment.  Just last week, Hannah returned to face the school board and speak her mind about their inaction to deliver any sort of substantial action against Ervin for the inappropriate remarks and actions.  Now, it seems local law enforcement has stepped in to ensure there will be consequences for Keith Ervin's actions. A federal grand jury returned the indictment in the EDNC on January 22, 2021. United States Magistrate Judge Brian S. Myers ordered Ugberaese detained pending trial.  U.S Trade And Development Agency To Fund Wireless Project For West Africa  The US Trade and Development Agency, USTDA has announced it is funding a major push to bring US-made wireless technology to off-grid communities across West Africa.   US Embassy in Abuja says the agency has approved funding for a feasibility study to install about 1,500 mobile base stations in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria.  The project targets areas currently served only by outdated 2G and 3G networks, or with no coverage at all. The Embassy says the study will be carried out by Massachusetts-based Vanu Inc., in partnership with Georgia’s Vernonburg Group. It will assess network infrastructure, market conditions, legal frameworks, and financing plans for large-scale deployment.  SDP Insists On  Gabam’s Expulsion From The Party The Docial Democratic Party (SDP) has declared that its former  National Chairman, Shehu Musa  Gabam, is no longer a member of the party, insisting that his suspension and expulsion were validly ratified by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) and convention in line with the party’s  constitution and the electoral act. National chairman of the party Professor Sadiq Gombe stated this while addressing newsmen shortly after a close door meeting with the national chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (inec) professor Joash Amupitan in Abuja.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Commissioner for Local Government, Alhaji Sadiq Mamman Lagos, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
