 Stephen Baldwin claims he was fired from rom-com for being 'funnier' than Jennifer Aniston Stephen Baldwin recently revealed that he was originally cast in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection but was dismissed early in production. On his podcast One Bad Movie, Baldwin explained he had been chosen to play Vince McBride, the boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston’s character Nina Borowski.  However, after just two days on set, a producer told him there was a “problem”  specifically, that he was “funnier than Jennifer,” which they felt undermined the film’s dynamic. Police in Nashville, Tennessee, were forced to shoot 5 pit bulls after a woman's desperate screams were reported.  Neighbors near a home on the corner of North 14th Street and McKennie Avenue made numerous disturbing calls to 911 from the East Nashville neighborhood on Monday evening.  Each caller described hearing frantic and blood curdling screams coming from inside of the home.  Officers with the Nashville Metro Police Department rushed to the scene and immediately heard what sounded like a woman in a very obvious fight for her life.  Officers rushed to the home to determine the cause of her distress but were met with a locked door.  EFCC Quizzes  Banker, Bureau De Change Operator for Alleged $2.5 million Fraud Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have quizzing the duo of Abdulkadir Muhammed Usman, a bureau de change operator and a banker,  Masa Olumense,  for alleged money laundering and making and receiving cash payment in excess of the stipulated threshold for individuals. The duo were alleged to have made and received cash payments to the tune of $2,598,900 (Two million, Five hundred and Ninety Eight Thousand, Nine Hundred Dollars) which is an equivalent of about N3,638,460,000 (Three Billion, Six Hundred and Thirty Eight Million, Four Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira ) without going through a financial institution which is contrary to Section 2(1) of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022. The Commission is on the trail of other suspects linked to the fraud who are currently at large.

 Two Ebem Ohafia Indigenes Killed in Separate Road Accidents Tragedy struck the Ebem Ohafia community in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State on Monday as two prominent indigenes lost their lives in separate fatal road accidents. The victims were identified as Mr. Thompson Kalu and Mr. Uma Orji, popularly known as “Ome Ego.” Kalu was killed on Sunday night when a truck operating without headlamps rammed into his motorcycle. Amos Dangut, head of the council’s national office in Nigeria, had said 1,959,636 candidates from 24,207 schools enrolled for the examination. Dangut said 1,001,072 candidates, representing 51.08 percent of the total enrolment, are female, while 958,564 candidates, representing 48.92 percent, are male. The 2026 WASSCE commenced on April 21 with practical papers and would conclude on June 19.
