 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer. HEAD OF U.N IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC GAYE,RESIGNS TODAY AFTER SEXUAL HARASSMENT SCANDAL.

            Today wednesday,according to the U.N Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon,said the head of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic has resigned after a fresh round of allegations of sexual abuse and excessive use of force by peacekeepers.''Today i have accepted the resignation of my special representative Mr Babacar Gaye,head of the United Nationd Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central Africa Republic,MINUSCA'.Gaye a general from Senegal,submitted his resignation at Ban's request.The announcement comes after Amnesty International accused MINUSCA peacekeepers of raping a 12 year old girl and killing a boy and his father during an operation in the country's capital of Bangui this month.Ban Ki-Moon said Gaye worked so honourably for many years but he wanted to show a strong example.He plans to brief the U.N security tomorrow thursday.He added that he was convening a special meeting with all U.N envoys,police commissioners and force commander tomorrow thursday to ensure they take appropriate action.Such action would include education and training to prevent crimes but if crimes occur then an immediate and thorough investigation should take place.One more photo below.
