 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. LAGOS STATE GOVT,IS SET TO COMMENCE REGISTRATION FOR 2017 BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION.

Image result for lagos state logo               Lagos State Government,through the State Examinations Board,has stated that it would commence the registration for the Year 2017 Basic Education Certificate Examinations Board,has stated that it would commence the registration for the Year 2017 Basic Education Certificate Examination {BECE} on Monday,December 12,2016 and would end on Friday,April 28,2017.A Release by the Board stated that late registration would commence from Tuesday 2nd-Friday 19th May,2017 and implored all Public Junior Secondary Schools to collect customized Compact Discs {CD} for  their candidates Bio-Data as part of preparations for the examination.It however warned that late registration attracts a penalty of Ten Thousand Naira {N10,000} only,while damage of the customized Compact Disc {CD} would attract a sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira {N2,500} irrespective of the status of the school involved.While urging Principals of both Private and Public schools to submit necessary documents alongside the CD on or before Friday,28th April,2017 to avoid late registration,the Board called on approved Private Junior Secondary Schools to collect their CDs at its office after payment of the required examination fees and submission of receipts to the Board.The release equally advised the schools with ALBINO/Visually Impaired Candidate{s} in Jss 3 to inform the State Examination Board in a separate letter to enable the Board make adequate preparations for issues that may likely affect such candidates during the examination.
