 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. QUEEN ELIZABETH AWARDED JAZZ MUSICIAN 'GARY GROSBY OBE' WITH 'THE QUEEN'S MEDAL FOR MUSIC' TODAY AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE.{PHOTOS}.

     The Queen's Medal for Music has been awarded to jazz musician Gary Crosby OBE. Today The Queen presented the award to Mr. Crosby at Buckingham Palace.
Gary Crosby OBE is a British jazz double bassist, composer, and co-founder and Artistic Director of Tomorrow's Warriors a jazz education group which nurtures and develops young musicians.
The Queen's Medal for Music, established in 2005, is presented annually to an outstanding individual or group of musicians who have had a major influence on the musical life of the nation.
On receiving the award, Mr Crosby said:
“I’m honoured to receive The Queen’s Medal for Music, and humbled to join such a distinguished group of Medal recipients. As a founder of Tomorrow’s Warriors, I’m also delighted to be recognised for my work as an educator and mentor to the many young jazz musicians we’ve worked with over the years.”.One more photo below.
