 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Lost boy found in Abuja, says he escaped from his uncle's house because the labour was too much for him

The police in Asokoro, Abuja is seeking to reunite a young boy, Msuhgter Aodohemba,  with his family in Benue State. 
 
According to a post shared by Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh on Thursday, July 20, 2023, the boy said he escaped from his uncle's house because the labour was too much for him. 
 
“LOST AND FOUND. This boy is by name MSUHGTER AONDOHEMBA, he told me he was staying with his grandmother and grandfather by name ASHEKUMA NEGE and ATUUR NEGE at behind modern market Makurdi,” the post read. 
 
“His grandmother's brother NENKEHEMEN took him to Yoruba land (No state name) but the labour was too much for him and he escaped. He is presently at ASOKORO DIVISION ABUJA. I went there today and the police officer told me to help her reunite him with his family. If anyone knows the family, tell them to contact DSP ESTHER on 08033582725”
