Netflix cancels Boots after one season Netflix has decided not to move forward with a second season of Boots, the military coming-of-age comedy-drama and the final project from legendary producer Norman Lear. The cancellation comes more than two months after the eight-episode first season debuted on the streaming platform. Despite strong critical reception—earning a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from both critics and viewers—and respectable viewership numbers, Netflix opted not to continue the series. The show had internal support, and discussions between Netflix and studio Sony Pictures Television examined long-term audience engagement before the decision. Sony had even extended contracts in August for key cast members, including Miles Heizer, Liam Oh, Kieron Moore, Dominic Goodman, Angus O’Brien, Blake Burt, and Rico Paris, in hopes of securing a second season.  Doing my dance will not get you husbands — Moses Bliss’ wife to ladies


Marie Wiseborn, the newly married wife of the popular Nigerian gospel singer, Moses Bliss, has advised single ladies against emulating her dance which led to her marriage.


The Ghanaian-British lawyer said this at Perez Chapel International, Accra, Ghana, during a gospel concert held to celebrate their wedding.


The concert featured many Nigerian gospel artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Chioma Jesus, Joe Praize, Sonnie Badu, Yadah, Victor Thompson and Yinka Okeleye among others.


Speaking at the event, Marie reflected on their love story, triggered by her viral video of a dancing challenge to Bliss’ hit song, ‘Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus’, in January 2023.


Marie cautioned the singles against assuming that emulating her dance would lead to similar relationship outcomes.


She said, “I have seen a lot of people doing the same dance I did on Instagram; it’s not that you danced my dance that you will get my result (married).”


It was reported that the newly wedded couple’s love story began with a simple tag on social media. After seeing the video, Moses couldn’t help but be captivated by Marie’s dance moves.


After which they became friends months later and finally got married in February 2024.


However, many Netizens have also taken to social media to make similar dance videos in the hope of getting married like Moses and Marie.
