 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Millie Bobby Brown, star of Stranger Things, has finally given fans a glimpse of her secret wedding to Jake Bongiovi. 

The 20-year-old actress, who married Jake, son of legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi, in a private ceremony in June, posted beautiful photos from the big day on Wednesday. Fans were quick to compliment Millie’s radiant appearance, describing her as a “real-life princess” in her stunning white wedding gown with delicate lace and a corset top. Jake looked equally handsome in a white tuxedo with a black bow tie.


Millie confirmed in June that she and Jake had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends. The wedding, which took place in May, was officiated by Matthew Modine, who plays her on-screen father in Stranger Things. The private event was kept under wraps until Millie decided to share the photos with her fans, captioning them with a heartfelt message: “Forever and always, your wife.”


In addition to the wedding photos, Millie shared some glimpses of her wedding party on her Instagram stories. For the celebration, the actress changed into another beautiful lace gown with a halter neck. Following their secret nuptials, the couple celebrated with a fun trip to Universal Orlando alongside a few close friends. Millie posted playful photos from their day at the amusement park, showing the couple enjoying their time together.


Millie and Jake have been together since June 2021 and got engaged in 2023 after three years of dating. The couple announced their engagement with a sweet post, where Millie wrote, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.” Fans have been eagerly following their love story ever since.
