Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing.  Former Abia Governor Ikpeazu Refutes Claims of Accusing Successor of Project Credit Theft

Former Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has categorically denied allegations that he accused current Governor Alex Otti of taking credit for projects initiated during his tenure. In a statement issued by his spokesman, Onyebuchi Ememanka, on Friday, Ikpeazu labeled the reports as “false, misleading, and maliciously crafted” by “merchants of evil and lazy bloggers” seeking to stir confusion and gain online traction.

The former governor clarified that he has not commented on the current administration since leaving office, maintaining a “dignified silence” while focusing on personal interests. He dismissed viral social media headlines, such as “Alex Otti is Stealing My Projects to Take My Glory – Ikpeazu,” as fabrications designed to mislead the public.

Ikpeazu noted that his only public statements since leaving office were to address official matters raised by the current government, with no such statements issued recently. He warned that legal action is being pursued against those responsible for spreading the false reports, in collaboration with security agencies to identify the culprits.

The former governor also cautioned social media users against sharing unverified information, emphasizing that both creating and disseminating falsehoods are punishable under the law. “Discerning people who want to verify if any statement came from Ikpeazu know the proper channels. Those enabling falsehoods on their platforms should be ready to face the consequences,” the statement concluded.
