 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Portable and Speed Darlington to Settle Feud in Celebrity Boxing Match


A highly anticipated celebrity boxing match is set to take place on April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos State, featuring controversial Nigerian musicians Speed Darlington and Portable.


The feud between the two artists began in March when Darlington offered Portable N500,000 to perform at his forthcoming show. Portable deemed the amount "ridiculous" and tagged Darlington "poor," stating that he charges N20 million for performances.


The exchange escalated, with Portable challenging Darlington to a fight and boasting that he would emerge victorious, just as he did in a previous celebrity boxing match against popular actor Charles Okocha in December 2023.


Following widespread demand from netizens, the match has been organized, with the promoter, Mygamerush, announcing the fight on Instagram, billing it as a battle for "ultimate street supremacy" between two "street kings."
