 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  ‎Enugu governor reshuffles cabinet, swears in six new commissioners

‎

‎Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, on Wednesday, reshuffled his cabinet, swapping three commissioners and swearing in six newly appointed ones.

‎

‎Mr Mbah also assigned portfolios to the new commissioners after Chizoba Ogbodo, a representative of the Ministry of Justice, administered the Oath of Office to them at the Government House in Enugu.

‎

‎The governor also swore in Godwin Anigbo as the Head of Service of Enugu State.

‎

‎With the swearing in of six new commissioners, Enugu State now has 23 commissioners.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
