Nigerians Will Soon Enjoy 24/7 Power Supply understand Tinubu's Govt- Minister of Power

The federal government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country is moving closer to enjoying uninterrupted power supply.

The promise, which has been a recurring concern in the nation for decades, was once again reiterated by the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, who said that there are already visible signs of progress in both generation and distribution.

According to Daily Trust, Adelabu made this disclosure while inaugurating two blocks that house five training workshops and a 104-room hostel at the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN).

The minister said that for the first time in many years, Nigerians can see improvements in the stability of power generation and distribution.

He stressed that these improvements, though gradual, point toward the long-term goal of achieving uninterrupted electricity for homes, industries, and public facilities.

“In no time, we are going to witness a country where there is 24/7 uninterrupted power supply. This is possible and we have certainly seen the signs,”

The minister also explained that one of the immediate strategies of the federal government is to ensure that critical public infrastructures are adequately powered.

He disclosed that several universities, hospitals, primary health centers, and other essential institutions are already benefiting from government-backed power supply interventions.
