 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. TINUBU WILL VISIT ABIA STATE ON OCTOBER 3, 2025, TO COMMISSION NEWLY REHABILITATED P/HARCOURT ROAD.(PHOTO).

 Tinubu will visit Abia State on October 3, 2025, to commission newly rehabilitated P/Harcourt Road


Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has announced that the newly reconstructed Port Harcourt road, Aba, and six other roads would be commissioned by President Bola Tinubu on October 3, 2025.


The governor stated this during the state security fundraising in Aba, adding that his administration has signed necessary documents with Radisson Blu for the commencement of work at the Enyimba Hotel Aba.


He assured that work would soon take off at the project site. Addressing the business community in Aba, during the launch at the Aba Sports Club, Otti, who explained that his government recognises security as the bedrock of development, reiterated that security occupies the centre stage of his administration.


He assured that he would not compromise on issues of security, adding that no kobo of the funds raised or other public funds would be mismanaged under his watch.
