Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali.  Kamala Harris signals another possible White House run

Former Vice President Kamala Harris suggested she could run for president again, offering her clearest hint yet about a possible 2028 White House bid.

In an interview with BBC journalist Lauren Kuenssberg, set to air Sunday, Harris said, “I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones.” She added that she is confident her grandnieces will see a woman president in their lifetimes, and when asked if that woman could be her, she replied, “Possibly.”

Harris emphasized that she has not formally decided to run again, though she continues to play an active role in the Democratic Party and national political discussions. “I am a leader of the party,” she said in an October 18 interview. “I take seriously that responsibility and duty… traveling the country talking and mostly listening with folks, and getting folks ready to fight in the midterms in 2026.”

The 60-year-old also addressed poll results suggesting she is an outsider within the party. “If I listened to polls, I would not have run for my first office, or my second office,” Harris told Kuenssberg. “And I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here.”
