Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial.  Kamala Harris signals another possible White House run

Former Vice President Kamala Harris suggested she could run for president again, offering her clearest hint yet about a possible 2028 White House bid.

In an interview with BBC journalist Lauren Kuenssberg, set to air Sunday, Harris said, “I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones.” She added that she is confident her grandnieces will see a woman president in their lifetimes, and when asked if that woman could be her, she replied, “Possibly.”

Harris emphasized that she has not formally decided to run again, though she continues to play an active role in the Democratic Party and national political discussions. “I am a leader of the party,” she said in an October 18 interview. “I take seriously that responsibility and duty… traveling the country talking and mostly listening with folks, and getting folks ready to fight in the midterms in 2026.”

The 60-year-old also addressed poll results suggesting she is an outsider within the party. “If I listened to polls, I would not have run for my first office, or my second office,” Harris told Kuenssberg. “And I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here.”
