Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing. Long before becoming fashion insiders, the sisters built global recognition as child actors through projects like Full House, It Takes Two, and New York Minute. KING CHARLES III JOINS POPE LEO IN PRAYER TODAY AT THE VATICAN. (PHOTOS). #BREAKDOWN

King Charles III joins Pope Leo in prayer

King Charles III prayed alongside Pope Leo at the Vatican on Thursday, marking the first time a head of the Church of England has done so since the split with the Holy See 500 years ago. The King and Queen Camilla joined the Pope at the Basilica of St. Paul’s Outside the Walls during a historic service that highlights centuries of ties between Britain and the Vatican.

The royal couple’s visit coincided with the Vatican’s Jubilee, a year of penance and forgiveness held every 25 years. Following a private audience, Charles received the honorary title of Royal Confrater, recognizing the longstanding historical links between the British monarchy and the church. Gifts were exchanged, including a photograph of St. Edward the Confessor for the pope and a mosaic of Christ Pantocrator for Charles and Camilla. The king and pope also prayed together at the Sistine Chapel, reportedly a first for a Church of England leader. At St. Paul’s, Charles was presented with a chair featuring his coat of arms and a Latin inscription meaning “That they may be one,” which will remain at the basilica for him and his successors.

PART 3:

In the Papal Basilica and Abbey of St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, The King and Queen have attended an ecumenical service, to mark His Majesty becoming ‘Royal Confrater’ of the Abbey of St. Paul.

The King sat in a specially created seat – given in honour of His Majesty becoming Royal Confrater.

This gift of ‘confraternity’ – a recognition of spiritual fellowship – symbolises the historic links between the English monarchy and the Basilica and Abbey of St Paul’s Outside the Walls. It also reflects the mutual recognition between Pope Leo and His Majesty as Heads of State.

St Paul’s is recognised as the Papal Basilica where reconciliation, ecumenism and relationships across the Christian faith are celebrated.

Their Majesties entered the Basilica via the Holy Door which is  opened to the public every twenty-five years, during a Jubilee Year.
