 Corey Feldman hospitalized after mid-flight medical emergency at LAX  Actor Corey Feldman was hospitalized after experiencing a medical emergency during a flight and being taken directly from Los Angeles International Airport to a hospital, according to his publicist. The 54-year-old actor reportedly became ill while traveling from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday. A doctor on board evaluated him during the flight before he was met upon arrival and transported for further treatment. He remained in the hospital overnight for observation. Early speculation suggested the issue could be related to gallstones, but his publicist said that possibility was ruled out by medical staff. Feldman was still undergoing evaluation and awaiting MRI results as of Tuesday morning.  Prof. Ofoegbu Cracks Down on Fake Clearance Certificates By Adaobi Nsofor  To promote transparency and align with the Anambra State Government's mining agenda, the Office of the Chairman, Mining Reform Committee, has apprehended group of miners, who falsely claimed to be collaborating with the Mining Reform Committee while issuing unauthorized certificates to fellow miners. Prof. Charles Ofoegbu, Chairman of the Committee, strongly condemned the unauthorized issuance of mining certificates, describing it as a criminal offense.  Two migrant boats sink, kill 45 people off Djibouti coast Two shipwrecks off the coast of Djibouti killed at least 45 migrants, with many missing, according to a statement Tuesday from the UN's International Organization for Migration (IOM). "Two shipwrecks off the coast of Djibouti have tragically left 45 migrants dead, with many still missing," an International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) spokesperson wrote X. The IOM said search and rescue efforts are underway, with 32 survivors rescued, according to AA. The boats left Yemen carrying 310 people but capsized in the Gulf of Aden.​​​​​​​ The UN agency noted that it is working with Djiboutian state emergency services to locate the remaining passengers while supporting survivors. The dangerous sea crossings between Yemen and the Horn of Africa continue to be a route for migrants fleeing conflict and hardship, despite the risks involved.

 Maldives joins South African's ICJ case against Israel The Maldives has said it has officially filed a declaration of intervention in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to join the genocide case against Israel for committing massacres in the Gaza Strip. “Israel must be held accountable for its unlawful acts in Gaza. The rule of law must be upheld, and Israel must cease its genocidal acts against the Palestinian people," Maldives’ President Mohamed Muizzu said in a post on X. Muizzu further said that Palestine “must” be recognised and established based on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. Several countries have joined the genocide case against Israel, including Türkiye, Nicaragua, Palestine, Spain, Mexico, Libya and Colombia.

 Middle East tension escalates, as Iran unleashes 200-Missile barrage on Israel Iran launched a large-scale missile attack against Israel on Tuesday, firing approximately 200 missiles, with dozens targeting the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa. This offensive, coordinated by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was in retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and other key figures. Iranian officials declared the attack a direct response to the Israeli strikes in Lebanon, where Israel had launched a ground operation targeting Hezbollah, a militant group supported by Tehran.  Diddy accused of sexually abusing 120 more people, including 9-year-old boy Tony Buzbee, the Texas-based attorney, says he is representing 120 accusers with sexual assault lawsuits against Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, some of which occurred over 20 years. The embattled rapper was arrested at a hotel in Manhattan on September 16 over sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Robyn Tarnofsky, the US magistrate judge, ordered that the entertainer be sent to jail while awaiting his trial. Tarnofsky’s order followed after the Bad Boy Records founder pleaded not guilty to the 14-page federal indictment against him. At a press briefing on Tuesday, Buzbee revealed that the 120 accusers were roughly split evenly by gender. He said the allegations spanned over 30 years and included 25 minors, with one child who was allegedly just 9 when they were victimized. However, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has disagreed with the villagers, insisting that the operation was carried out based on credible intelligence indicating a significant presence of terrorists and their weapons cache in the Yadi Forest. According to Tribune Online, the villagers claim that the victims included 23 worshippers at a mosque and others at a market in the area, who were mistakenly killed during the operation.
