‘It’s fallacy’ — NDC rep chides Oshiomhole over remark on Obi’s security record as governor Afam Ogene, a member of the house of representatives, has described a recent remark by Adams Oshiomhole, senator representing Edo north, against Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), as “fallacy”. In an interview on Seun Okinbaloye’s podcast, Oshiomhole said Edo was safer when he was governor than Anambra was during Obi’s administration. The senator was the governor of Edo from 2008 to 2016, while Obi governed Anambra between 2006 and 2014 before handing over to Willie Obiano.
