 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. IKEJA COURT JAILS MAN ONE YEAR FOR INTERNET FRAUD TODAY.{PHOTO}.

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction and sentencing of one Taiwo Michael Okunowo, an Internet fraudster, before Justice S.O. Solebo of the State High court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos on a one- count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and possession of fraudulent documents.
The convict was arrested following intelligence report received by the Commission on December 15, 2017 about his fraudulent activities.The count reads: “That you, Taiwo Michael Okunowo, (aka Holly Herlich, Mark Welsh, Steven Staller), on or about the 16th day of December, 2017, at Lagos within the Ikeja judicial Division, had in your possession documents containing false pretence titled- “Facebook & Government Compensation Winning Certificate, Treasure Grant Winners Certificate and Facebook-brandon M. Micke”- containing false pretence, which you knew to be false.”.The defendant, who had earlier entered a plea bargain with the Commission, pleaded guilty to the charge preferred against him by the Commission.Delivering his judgment today, Justice Solebo found the defendant guilty of the one-count charge and sentenced him to one year imprisonment.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
