 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. LAGOS FIXES SATURDAY JULY 15 FOR 2023 PLACEMENT TEST BY CAS


The Lagos State Ministry of Education has announced that the Year 2023 Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS) has been scheduled for Saturday, 15th July, 2023 at all Schools' Centres across the State.

A release signed by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu informed all concerned stakeholders in the Public and Approved Private Primary Schools in the State that the test would be conducted simultaneously in all the centres.

 

He, therefore, enjoined the stakeholders in the affected schools to take note of the date and ensure that their pupils fully participate in the test in compliance with the "No child should be left behind" Policy of the State Government.

Orunsolu equally solicited the cooperation of School Owners and Headteachers of the concerned schools for a hitch-free exercise.
