 HAJJ 2026: 1600 LAGOS PILGRIMS ARRIVE SAFELY FROM MAKKAH The 1,600 Lagos pilgrims who participated in the just-concluded Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have all arrived safely to join their respective families. The safe arrival of the last and final batch of 187 pilgrims on Saturday marked the conclusion of the 2026 Hajj operations. Speaking to journalists at the tarmac of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, the Amir-ul-Hajj and State Commissioner of Home Affairs, Ibrahim Layode said that the spiritual exercise was a success for Lagos State. The Commissioner who attributed the success to the exemplary conduct of the pilgrims while in the Holy Land maintained that the State also made adequate arrangements by engaging critical stakeholders ahead of the journey.  Reactions as Comedian AY unveils 17-year-old ‘son’


Popular comedian and filmmaker, Ayo Makun, aka AY, has left his fans in surprise after he celebrated his ‘son’ on his 17th birthday.

The comedian, who was unveiling his son to the public for the first time, disclosed that his name is Denzel.

He expressed his eagerness to reunite with him.

Sharing photos of the celebrant on his Instagram page, AY wrote, “My son is 17. May each day be a step closer to your dreams, filled with the warmth of love and the thrill of new adventures. Happy birthday, Denzel. Daddy loves you. See you soon.”

His post elicited reactions with many thronging to the comment section with questions.

Slim Kiki wrote, “Oga you need to explain better o. Please your son from which woman? Because as far as I know, it’s only Micheal and Ayomide who are your kids so this son is from where?”
