MISCHIEVOUS CAT WHO LIKES TO HIDE IN BOXES ACCIDENTALLY SHIPPED OVER 600 MILES WITH AN AMAZON RETURN. (PHOTO).

Mischievous cat who likes to hide in boxes accidentally shipped over 600 miles with an Amazon return.

Matt and Carrie Clark were upset when they couldn't find their cat. Galena (the kitty in question) seemingly disappeared sometime around April 10th. The couple spent hours looking for their cat knowing she enjoys hiding places.

Unfortunately all of the looking around their home did not reveal Galena's hiding place.

The couple then shifted gears printing up and hanging tons of flyers as well as calling friends and family for help. Sadly still no traces of Galena were to be found.

Carrie and Mark where understandably disheartened after days of searching for their beloved pet to no avail.

Then the couple received a strange phone call from a veterinarian in California.  The vet contended they had a cat in their possession that's microchip showed it was 650 miles from home.

This is when Galena's story started to fall into place. This mischievous feline that liked hiding from her family had chosen to hide inside of a box set for return to Amazon.

It wasn't until 6 days after shipping that a very surprised Amazon employee discovered Galena's plight. She had gone 6 days without food or water.

The awesome Amazon employee took it upon herself to feed and water the dehydrated Galena kitty before taking her to a vet in order to begin the process of returning her home.

After receiving the shocking information Matt and Carrie booked a flight to reunite with their little trouble maker cat.

Although Mark and Carrie were overjoyed with the reunion Galena couldn't really be bothered and is more than likely scheming her next vacation.

Carrie would like for this to serve not only as an example of the importance of microchiping your pets, but also double checking your Amazon returns.

Right, Galena, the traveling kitty.
