 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1. Hon. Arinola Fatimoh Lawal, the member representing Ilorin East Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of one of her constituents, Captain Muhammad Ahmad Gobir.


In a statement made available to Just Event Online TV, , Hon. Lawal described the late Captain Gobir as a dedicated and honorable individual who served his community with distinction.


She extended her heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the deceased, praying for strength and comfort during this difficult time.


"Captain Muhammad Ahmad Gobir was a true son of Ilorin East, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace," Hon. Lawal stated.
