Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has appointed Chijioke Nwankwo as the new Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Governor, succeeding Chinedu Ekeke, who was recently elected Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato LGA.
In a press release issued on Wednesday and signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Governor Otti also announced several other key appointments. Emmanuel Okpechi was named Special Adviser on Internally Generated Revenue, Emeka Enyiazu as Special Adviser on Tertiary Education, and Chinasa Frank Iheanyi as Liaison Officer to the National Assembly.
Additional appointments include Ndubuisi Ike as Special Adviser on Finance & Economic Development, Eric Egwuibe as Special Adviser on Budget and Planning, and Osinachi Nwaka as Director-General of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated.
Governor Otti also made reassignment decisions, naming Chimereze Okeigbo as CEO of Abia SME Microfinance Bank, Urenna Abazie as Director-General of the Abia State Orientation Agency, Chinwe Kalu Uba as Special Assistant on Industry & SMEs, and Matilda Anyamele as Special Assistant on Arts, Culture & Creative Economy.
