 Tinubu Promises Nigeria's Support to Ghana's President John Mahama President Bola Tinubu has pledged Nigeria's unwavering support to Ghana’s President John Mahama, emphasizing commitment to driving change and economic growth for the people of Ghana.  Speaking at Mahama’s inauguration in Accra, Tinubu, who chairs the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, called for African nations to focus on building robust economies. He expressed pride in Ghana’s achievements and reaffirmed the shared history and unity between Nigeria and Ghana. Tinubu also praised Mahama’s vision and dedication to his nation, assuring him of Nigeria's support in achieving success and progress for both countries.

 GBAJABIAMILA CELEBRATES FIRST BABY OF 2025 AT RANDLE GENERAL HOSPITAL


In a heartwarming tradition, the Chief of Staff to the President, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, was on Wednesday, January 1, at Surulere General Hospital and the Maternal and Child Centre (MCC), Gbaja, to celebrate the arrival of the First Baby of the Year 2025.


The event marks another year of Hon. Gbajabiamila's dedication and commitment to matters affecting the two hospitals in the area of quality healthcare services to residents of Surulere and its community.


The Chief of Staff, through his unending support, has, on a yearly basis, been visiting the hospitals to handle the First Baby of the Year event, bringing joy and happiness to the newborns and their families.


Speaking at the 2025 edition, the Chief of Staff stated, "I am honoured to be here to celebrate the arrival of our First Baby of the Year, Baby Ikeatu Okika, born at exactly 12:00 a.m. This happy occasion marks a new beginning, a new life, and a new hope for our community."


"I am here to offer my warmest congratulations to all the new babies. May these precious gifts bring us immense joy, happiness, and fulfilment through their life's journey," the Chief of Staff added.


Commending the management and staff of the two hospitals, Hon. Gbajabiamila said their efforts and contributions to the growth and development of the hospitals are highly recognized, especially in the area of quality healthcare services to the community. "Your dedication and commitment to excellence are truly appreciated," he said.


Earlier, in his welcome address at the event, the Medical Director/CEO of the Hospitals, Dr. Olumide Sojinrin, said he was delighted to welcome the people to the joyous celebration, which underscored the trust and confidence the community has in the two hospitals, located in Surulere.


He expressed his deepest gratitude to Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila for his unwavering support and commitment, noting that such contributions have been instrumental to the growth and development of the hospitals.


To the staff, he said, "I am proud of each one of you. Your hard work, dedication, and compassion have made Randle General Hospital a beacon of hope and excellence in healthcare."


To the proud parents and the new baby, the Medical Director wished them a life of fulfilment, success, and achievements. He also promised the hospital's readiness to provide the highest quality care and support whenever needed.
