 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  One Dead in Majeje Nanana Crash: Four Survive Early Morning Accident


A tragic accident in the early hours of this morning claimed the life of one person near Ninankhulu School in Majeje Nanana, Phalaborwa. The incident occurred around 5 AM when a vehicle carrying five individuals crashed while they were returning from Mgiba Tavern.


According to sources, the car belongs to a man identified as Henry from Lulekani. However, he was not present at the time of the accident, as he had lent the vehicle to the group the previous night.


Emergency services responded swiftly, but one occupant succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The remaining four survivors sustained various injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.


Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash, with speeding and fatigue among the possible factors. More details will follow as the investigation unfolds.
