 HAJJ 2026: 1600 LAGOS PILGRIMS ARRIVE SAFELY FROM MAKKAH The 1,600 Lagos pilgrims who participated in the just-concluded Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have all arrived safely to join their respective families. The safe arrival of the last and final batch of 187 pilgrims on Saturday marked the conclusion of the 2026 Hajj operations. Speaking to journalists at the tarmac of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, the Amir-ul-Hajj and State Commissioner of Home Affairs, Ibrahim Layode said that the spiritual exercise was a success for Lagos State. The Commissioner who attributed the success to the exemplary conduct of the pilgrims while in the Holy Land maintained that the State also made adequate arrangements by engaging critical stakeholders ahead of the journey.  Allegedly, I have been missing- 2Baba


Popular Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, has recently addressed his missing persons report to security agencies, made by his mother.


A few weeks ago, a statement was written to the Department of State Services (DSS) by 2Babas mother seeking help in locating the singer, her son, saying the family did not know his whereabouts.

The singer recently spoke about the incidence at a comedy show despite being sighted in public multiple times since the missing persons report was filed.

“Allegedly, I have been missing. Allegedly I have been kidnapped. So as we come Acapella show, this show is to generate money for the kidnappers to release me.” 2Baba said in a bid to make light of the situation.

This statement came a few weeks after his love interest, Natasha Osawaru, responded to allegations that she was keeping him against his will.

She stated that he was an adult and he came to her. 2Baba and Natasha have continued to make public appearances together, turning deaf ears to criticisms from the public.
