Tanzania closes Nduta camp housing thousands of Burundi refugees Tanzania has closed a camp housing thousands of Burundian refugees and repatriated all but a handful, activists and the United Nations said. Burundian refugees have complained in recent months of being forcibly evicted from the Nduta camp in northwestern Tanzania, following a deal between the governments in Dar Es Salaam and Bujumbura to repatriate around 100,000 of them by June. As of late 2025, there were an estimated 142,000 Burundian refugees housed in two Tanzanian camps - Nduta and Nyarugusu, according to the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR). DOLLY PARTON HAS NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR BEYONCÉ'S BOLD REINTERPRETATION OF HER ICONIC 1973 HIT "JOLENE" ON THE COWBOY CARTER ALBUM. (PHOTO).

Country music legend Dolly Parton has nothing but praise for Beyoncé's bold reinterpretation of her iconic 1973 hit "Jolene" on the Cowboy Carter album.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Parton revealed her genuine reaction to hearing her classic song transformed from a vulnerable plea into a fierce warning.

"I was just honored that she did a completely different take on 'Jolene' than my version of it," Parton shared. She explained the key difference: "Hers was more like, 'Well, you're not getting him, you're not taking him, you're going to go through me to get him.' Mine was more like, 'Please don't take him!' So I loved her interpretation."

The 78-year-old singer-songwriter called Beyoncé "a magnificent artist" and described Cowboy Carter as "really, really good." Parton's involvement in the album goes beyond just her blessing - she appears twice on the record, including as a fictional radio DJ on the track "Dolly P" and in a cameo on "Tyrant."

Parton's gracious response highlights what makes great artistry: the ability to see your work evolve through another artist's vision while maintaining respect for both versions. "As a writer, you like to hear how different people interpret your songs," she noted.
