  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Shehu Sani Opposes Renaming of ICC After Tinubu


Former Senator Shehu Sani has urged President Bola Tinubu to reject the renaming of the Abuja International Conference Centre (ICC) after him.


Reacting to the move by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who unveiled the new name—Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre—Sani said the facility was built by former Head of State Ibrahim Babangida and should retain its original identity.
