 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Miley Cyrus Reclaims Hannah Montana for 20th Anniversary Special


Hannah Montana fans have reason to celebrate. Disney+ unveiled the first trailer for its 20th Anniversary Special on Tuesday, March 10, with Miley Cyrus stepping back into the character that launched her into global stardom.


The trailer shows 33-year-old Cyrus donning the signature blonde wig, strolling through sets recreated from the original series, and revisiting the hallways of Seaview High School. 


“Already getting emotional,” she says, reflecting on the memories tied to the show that told the story of Miley Stewart, a teenager balancing a secret life as pop star Hannah Montana.


Throughout the preview, Cyrus shares heartfelt moments with her family. 


She dances alongside her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who played Robby Ray Stewart on the series, and flips through photo albums with her mom, Tish Cyrus. 


Alex Cooper, host of the special, reminds her in the trailer, “This show defined a generation.”


Filmed in front of a live audience, Disney promises that the special will feature an in-depth interview with Cyrus, alongside never-before-seen archival footage from the original production. 


Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, said in a press release, “Hannah Montana opened the door for so many fans to dream big, sing loud, and embrace every side of themselves, which is why its legacy continues to shine across generations.”


Davis added, “Partnering with Miley on this special is a dream. We want it to be a love letter to the fans, who remain as passionate today as they were when the series debuted almost 20 years ago.”


Cyrus herself expressed gratitude for the role and its lasting impact. 


“Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection,” she said.
