‘TRUTH IS BEING SUPPRESSED’ — WIVES OF ALLEGED COUP PLOTTERS DEMAND OPEN TRIAL. (PHOTO).
On the evening of June 12th, 33-year-old Jordan Walters and his wife, 33-year-old Sierra, were traveling on State Road 350 with their young children 6-year-old Knight and his 4-year-old brother Kyro.
As the family was traveling along the eastbound lane, a 2006 Ford F-150 traveling in the opposite direction crossed the centerline.
This resulted in a catastrophic head-on collision that sent the Walters' GMC Terrain hurtling from the roadway. It would eventually come to rest in a roadside embankment.
After the devastating accident, Knight was able to free himself from his booster seat. The young hero had suffered an injury to his arm that would ultimately require surgery as well as a lacerated spleen. Despite these injuries after freeing himself, Knight checked on his parents and brother. He reportedly tried to wake his parents up.
After not being able to get a response from his parents, Knight scrambled up the embankment and found help. According to officials, Knight approached a female bystander and told her that his little brother needed help and that his parents wouldn't wake up.
Both Jordan and Sierra were pronounced deceased on the scene by the Dearborn County, Indiana, Coroner.
Knight and Kyro were both transported to a nearby hospital where Knight would undergo his needed surgery and Kyro was treated for a broken wrist.
The driver of the Ford was also transported to the hospital for treatment. There is no report on the driver's condition or identity at this time.
The crash that took the lives of the young children's parents is under investigation.
Knight and Kyro are now living with Jordan's twin brother Jerad and his wife. Jerad has stated the two boys have a long road to recovery both physically and mentally as they cope with the loss of both parents and their injuries.
He says that Jordan and Sierra should be remembered for the wonderful parents that they were. Knight and Kyro were the most important things in their lives and they plan to raise them to know how much their parents loved them.
This is such a heartbreaking story and a true reminder of the resilience of children.
Our thoughts are with Knight and Kyro as they learn to live without their parents.
