 Corey Feldman hospitalized after mid-flight medical emergency at LAX  Actor Corey Feldman was hospitalized after experiencing a medical emergency during a flight and being taken directly from Los Angeles International Airport to a hospital, according to his publicist. The 54-year-old actor reportedly became ill while traveling from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday. A doctor on board evaluated him during the flight before he was met upon arrival and transported for further treatment. He remained in the hospital overnight for observation. Early speculation suggested the issue could be related to gallstones, but his publicist said that possibility was ruled out by medical staff. Feldman was still undergoing evaluation and awaiting MRI results as of Tuesday morning. Fitch Ratings, an Internationally renowned rating agency, in its recent publication outlining the standing of the State has upgraded Lagos State ratings from AA+ (nga) to AAA(nga) for its good standing in terms of its debt sustainability, and resilience. Communicating the development to the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Rabiu Olowo, FitchRatings said the feat was published in the Y2020/2021 rating report, noting that the upgrade of the National Long-Term rating reflects Lagos State’s strength compared with national peers as well as its resilient operating performance during the Pandemic.  The congratulatory message signed by the Senior Director, Head Sub-Saharan Africa, Mr. Andrew Parkinson, said: “I just wanted to say congratulations on the upgrade to AAA (nga). Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested twenty seven (27) individuals in connection with suspicious illegal oil bunkering. They were arrested on Friday, September 10, 2012 at Ahoada Local Government Area, Rivers State. Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Sunday, September 12, 2021 arrested 31 suspected internet fraudsters. The suspects were arrested in two separate locations in Benin City sequel to actionable intelligence. Among those arrested are suspected fraudsters who, a few weeks ago, were seen in a viral video standing on top of their cars and throwing bundles of Naira notes into the air at a popular Plaza in Benin City. They had embarked on a similar mission at the same venue on Sunday before they were intercepted by operatives of the Commission at the exit gate.   The other suspects were arrested at their hideout in Benin City. Concerted efforts were made to save the life of the injured victim. She was immediately taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention but later died on the way to the hospital.  Safety Alert! There has been an accident involving a Mack Tanker fully laden with 45,000 litres of Petroleum Motor Spirit and a Tipper Truck at Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos, today, Sunday, 12th September, 2021. The tanker, which was reportedly hit by a run-away tipper truck, spilt its content while trying to enter an NNPC Filling Station along the axis. The incident, which occurred at Majek Bus Stop, inward Sangotedo, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos, has been cordoned off to prevent danger. The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is mitigating the situation with the deployment of Chemical Foam Compound to neutralise petrol from causing a secondary incident.
