 Kufana Youths Apprehend Suspected Transformer Vandals, Hand Over Suspects To Police The Executive Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Council, Hon. Dauda Madaki, has commended the vigilance and bravery of youths in Kufana community following the arrest of suspected transformer vandals in the early hours of Tuesday. The suspects, identified as Denis Reuben of Kurmin Ido, Haruna Ado of Kurmin Kwari, and another individual, were reportedly caught while allegedly attempting to steal transformer coils. Their arrest was carried out by a patrol team led by Mr. Samaila Akawu, alongside the community Youth Leader, Mr. Chris Lingo, and other vigilant youths. Following the arrest, the suspects were handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and possible prosecution. Reacting to the development, Hon. These successful operations, which were propelled by credible intelligence, demonstrate the commitment of the Force to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens. On April 25, 2025, operatives of the FID Special Tactical Squad (STS) in collaboration with operatives of the Taraba State Police command, local hunters and vigilante group arrested four suspected kidnappers in Mararaban Abbare, Lau L.G.A., while they were planning an operation. The foreign ministers expressed their countries' position during a meeting with Morocco's King Mohammed VI in Rabat, it said. The West African nations, run by military leaders who took power in coups in recent years, withdrew from the regional grouping ECOWAS last year and formed an alliance known as the Confederation of Sahel States (AES). Morocco, a major investor in West Africa's financial and agricultural sectors, announced its trade access initiative in November 2023, after ECOWAS imposed trade restrictions on the three states. A KANSAS CITY FIREFIGHTER HAS TRAGICALLY LOST HIS LIFE AFTER BEING STABBED IN THE HEART BY A PATIENT.(PHOTO).

 A Kansas City Firefighter has tragically lost his life after being stabbed in the heart by a patient. This truly heartbreaking incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 27th. Emergency personnel were called to the report of a woman walking along the roadway in the area of 152 Highway and North Oak Traffic Way. The first responders arrived on the scene and made contact with the patient, 38-year-old Shanetta Bossell. Eventually EMS was called to the scene to transport Bossell to St. Luke's Hospital. As the ambulance was on the way to the hospital, Bossell fatally stabbed 29-year-old Graham Hoffman in the chest. It has not been reported whether Bossell had become combative or if this was a surprise attack at this point.  The ambulance was stopped alongside 152 Highway near Platte Purchase Road and  Bossell was taken into custody after the homicide.  Graham Hoffman was transported to North Kansas City Hospital.
