 Rep. John Larson files impeachment articles against Trump over Iran war threats     Rep. John Larson announced Tuesday that he has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump, citing the president’s recent social media post threatening to destroy a “whole civilization” if the Strait of Hormuz was not immediately reopened. Larson said Trump’s actions in the ongoing war in Iran are illegal and endangering American lives and the economy. The filing comes after Trump temporarily paused the strikes for two weeks following Pakistan’s request for an extended deadline to allow diplomatic efforts. Larson criticized Trump’s remarks, including his Easter Sunday post, as increasingly unstable and a threat to U.S. security. Seventy Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen.  Crackdown on Lateness: Obodogha Leads Spot Check at Environment Ministry


The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Mr. Tochukwu Obodogha, has launched a surprise inspection of staff attendance, enforcing Governor Chukwuma Soludo's zero-tolerance policy on lateness.


Obodogha warned that latecomers will face a disciplinary committee, emphasizing that the glory of civil service must be restored.


 He stressed that every worker must be at their duty post by 8am prompt.


Addressing staff at Anambra State Erosion, Watershed and Climate Change Agency (ANSEWCCA), he said the era of non-chalancy is over. "Every staff member must be at the table and on time." A surveillance team will monitor workers' attendance, reporting to Obodogha.


He urged staff to key into Governor Soludo's vision, noting the governor prioritizes workers' welfare. The crackdown aims to boost productivity and make Anambra State great.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
