 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status.         Amitabh Bachchan, one of India's best known movie stars, has tested positive for COVID-19 together with his actor son Abhishek Bachchan, they said late on Saturday. Both were admitted to the same private hospital. "I have tested COVID positive ... shifted to hospital ... hospital informing authorities ... family and staff undergone tests, results awaited," Amitabh Bachchan, 77, said in a tweet.Minutes later, his 44-year-old son Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted he had been infected. "Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. Suspect had on the same date and on different ocassion allegedly defiled a 9 years old girl in his room.Scene was visited by police detectives and victim taken to the hospital for medical examination.       Governor Samuel Ortom calls on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare armed Fulani herdsmen killing innocent people in communities of Benue State as terrorists. The Governor’s call follows repeated herdsmen attacks on different communities of the state in the last couple of months. The latest of such attacks took place last night at Tse-Chembe community near Anyiin in Logo Local Government Area where the herders m urdered seven persons in cold blood and left many others badly injured. Governor Ortom condemns the invasion and killings and describes the situation as unacceptable. He says Benue State has a law which prohibits open grazing of livestock, and stresses that only a terrorist group would deliberately choose to violate the legislation as Fulani herdsmen have done since the law was enacted in 2017.
